Why a tutor beats going it alone
Self-study can take you surprisingly far with Arabic, right up to the point where it cannot. You can memorize the alphabet from a chart, but a chart will not tell you that your ع sounds like an أ. You can read grammar tables, but they will not notice that you always forget the case ending on the second word of a construct phrase. A tutor does, and fixes it while it is still a small habit.
An online Arabic tutor also gives your study a shape. Instead of jumping between apps, playlists and PDFs, you have a plan and a person checking that you are moving through it.
What a session looks like
Sessions happen over a video call, so all you need is a laptop or tablet, a headset if you have one, and a quiet corner. A typical class mixes a short review of last time, new material, and practice where you do most of the talking or reading. Your tutor adjusts the pace live: slowing down when something is new and moving on when you have clearly got it.
Matching you with the right tutor
When you book your trial, you tell us your goal (for example Quranic Arabic, conversation or grammar), your current level and the times you are free. You can also say whether you prefer a male or female tutor; both are available 24/7. We use that to match you, and the trial is your chance to check the fit.
Time zones and flexible days
Scheduling runs 24/7. You pick the days and the time in your own US time zone, so a learner in California and one in New York can both find a slot that suits them. If your week changes, tell us and we will look at your options.
Is a tutor right for you?
If you learn best with accountability, want feedback on pronunciation, or have tried apps and stopped, a tutor is probably the missing piece. If you want everything tailored to you, see private Arabic lessons.
