Why private lessons?
In a group class, the lesson is planned for the average student, and almost nobody is the average student. Private lessons remove that compromise. Your tutor plans around you, with what you already know, what you are trying to achieve and how you learn best, and changes course as soon as something is not working.
What one-on-one gives you
- All the speaking and reading time. You are not waiting for your turn.
- Immediate correction. Pronunciation and grammar slips are caught as they happen.
- A plan built for you. Mix Quranic Arabic, grammar, conversation or MSA in whatever balance you need.
- Your speed. Spend longer on the hard parts and move quickly through what comes easily.
- Privacy. Some adults feel self-conscious making mistakes in front of others. Here, nobody else is watching.
Scheduling
Private lessons are available 24/7. You choose which days you study and the time in your own US time zone, whether that is Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska or Hawaii. You can also request a female teacher if you prefer.
Try before you commit
Start with a 3-day free trial. It is enough to meet your tutor, get a feel for the lessons and decide whether to continue. The standard plan is $20 a month for Monday to Friday classes; see the pricing page.
